Dedicated developers
Developers for your team, managed by us.
We place dedicated developers with companies and projects, and we manage the load: the recruiting, the day-to-day delivery and the HR. You get the engineering capacity without the overhead of building a team.

Start with one engineer or bring a whole team.

Single specialist
One engineer embedded in your team, working on your product, your tools and your schedule.

Development pod
A small cross-functional unit of 3 to 4 engineers shipping together, so you deal with one lead instead of each person.

Full dedicated team
A complete team of 6 to 8 engineers plus a dedicated delivery lead, for a whole product or a new workstream.
What we manage so you don't have to.

Sourcing
We source, vet and shortlist engineers matched to your stack, before day one.
Delivery lead
A dedicated lead runs sprints, standups and priorities with you.
QA and review
Code review and testing on every pull request before it ships.
Reporting
Weekly progress, velocity and risk reporting you can act on.
Replacement
If someone isn't the right fit, we replace them without the gap.
HR, contracts and payroll
Contracts, payroll and benefits are on us.
Hiring in-house versus a managed team.

| In-house | With MetaBuf | |
|---|---|---|
| Recruitment | Months of sourcing, interviews and notice periods. | We recruit. Vetted engineers shortlisted for your stack. |
| HR and payroll | Contracts, benefits, compliance and payroll runs. | We handle HR. Contracts, payroll and benefits are on us. |
| Office costs | Desks, equipment, licences and facilities. | Remote-first. No office overhead, set up to ship from day one. |
| Management overhead | Your leads spend time managing, not building. | Delivery lead included. Sprints, standups and priorities run for you. |
| Replacement risk | A resignation means restarting the hiring cycle. | We swap in a new engineer without the gap. |

Before you ask.
- What does a dedicated developer mean here?
- A developer assigned to your work, who works on your product rather than being shared across unrelated clients. We employ and manage them; you direct the work.
- What do you take off our plate?
- Recruiting, day-to-day delivery management, code review and testing, weekly reporting, replacement if someone isn't the right fit, and HR, contracts and payroll.
- Do we get a trial?
- Yes. After we shortlist engineers there is a trial step where you test the fit on real work. Ask us how it would run for your project.
- What if someone isn't the right fit?
- We replace them without the gap, so your project keeps moving.
- Who handles HR and payroll?
- We do. Contracts, payroll and benefits are on us, so you don't take on employer admin.
- Do the developers work remotely?
- Yes, we are remote-first, set up to ship from day one without any office overhead on your side.
- What hours will we overlap?
- Our Glasgow and Lahore teams overlap for 3 hours each working day, 09:00 to 12:00 GMT, with 13 hours of combined cover. Overlap is full for UK clients, good for EU and in the morning for US.
- What does it cost?
- It depends on the roles, the number of developers and how long you need them. Tell us what you need and we'll send a quote.
- Who owns the code?
- This is agreed in the contract before work begins. Raise it on the first call.
Tell us what you need.
The roles, the stack and when you'd like to start. We'll reply with a proposal and a quote.
