Enquiries sent through our forms
When you send us an enquiry through the contact, startups or dedicated-developers form, we collect what you type: your name, work email address, company (optional), what you are building, your project brief, and, if you choose to tell us, how you heard about us. We also record which form and page you used and the time of the enquiry. We use this to reply to you, scope your project, and keep a record of the enquiry.
Only if you have accepted analytics cookies, we also record where you came from (the website or campaign that sent you), the first page you visited after accepting, and your Google Analytics client identifier, so we can understand which channels bring genuine enquiries. If you have not accepted analytics, we record none of this. We do not store your IP address with your enquiry. We use it only briefly, in memory, to block automated abuse.
3. How We Use Your Information
We may use information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and requests

We do not collect personal information simply because it is available. We aim to collect and use information that is reasonably necessary for legitimate business purposes.
4. How We Share Information
We may share information with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate our business, such as:
- Website hosting providers
- Cloud infrastructure providers
- Analytics providers
- Communication and email platforms
- Scheduling and meeting platforms
- Security and fraud-prevention services
- Professional advisers where reasonably necessary
These providers are expected to process information only for legitimate purposes and in accordance with applicable contractual and legal requirements.
For enquiries sent through our forms, the providers we use are:
- Netlify, which hosts the website and securely stores each enquiry
- Google (Google Sheets), where our team views and manages enquiries
- Resend, which sends us an email alert containing the enquiry details
- Google (Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4), only if you accept analytics cookies. Until you choose, and if you reject, these are not loaded at all
We may also disclose information where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of MetaBuf Solutions, our clients, users, or others.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Client and Project Information
If you become a client, additional information may be processed as part of delivering your project.
The information handled during a project depends on the nature of the engagement and may include technical, business, operational, or user information provided by you.
Where MetaBuf Solutions processes personal information on behalf of a client, the client may remain responsible for determining the purposes and means of that processing. Appropriate contractual arrangements may apply depending on the project.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.
However, no website, system, or method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing services, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type and purpose of the information.
Enquiries that do not become a project are kept for up to 24 months from the date of the enquiry. Information about clients is kept for as long as needed for contract, tax, and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time by emailing dev@metabufsol.com, and we will remove it from our storage, spreadsheet, and email.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, security, analytics, preferences, and other purposes.
You can learn more about our use of cookies through our Cookie Policy and manage available preferences through Cookie Settings.
We ask for your choice the first time you visit. Until you choose, nothing optional is loaded, and “Reject all” and “Accept all” are equally available. If you accept analytics, we load Google Tag Manager, which sets Google Analytics 4 to measure page views and interactions, for example clicks on WhatsApp, email and “Request a call” links, viewing a case study, and submitting an enquiry form. Advertising signals stay off unless you accept marketing. If you withdraw consent, we stop sending events and delete the Google Analytics cookies and the first-visit record we hold on your device.
9. Your Privacy Choices
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, which can include the right to:
- Request access to personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of certain information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Request a copy of certain information in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with an applicable data protection authority

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

Our website and services are not directed toward children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our general website.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Because technology services and third-party infrastructure may operate across different countries, your information may be processed or stored outside the country where you are located.
Where required by applicable law, we take appropriate measures for permitted international transfers of personal information. The providers named in section 4 may process information outside the UK and the European Economic Area.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, technology, legal requirements, or privacy practices.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date shown at the top of this page.
